“Follow your heart. Be true to yourself. Do what makes you happy. Be with who makes you smile. Laugh as much as you breathe. Love as long as you live. Say what you need to say. Find the courage to feel different, yet beautiful. Find it in your heart to make others feel good too. Know that you don’t need many people in your life, just a few great ones, so don’t lower yourself and your standards for the wrong reasons. Be strong when things get tough. ” (inspired by marcandangel.com)

I won’t say much because I want you guys to experience my travel through the pictures. But that pretty much summed up my 8 day first time journey in Europe in general. The italians have a saying LA VITA E BELLA, which means LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL. Well, they’re right

Miami Beach Florida, enough said on this one.
With all the latin spice, the cuban food, the warm beach, and the beautiful people, I really can’t describe much of Miami for you unless you’re actually there. I think what tops off this city is their nightlife. They say New York is a city that never sleeps, well Miami doesn’t stop partying. And according to the A-List rapper Pitbull “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, and what happens in Miami, never happened.” (don’t get it twisted Las Vegas, because I think Miami wins on this one). There are different parts of Miami that people need to dig in deep and check out. When people think of that city, they first think of the beaches, and the nightlife. But theres a lot of history and artsy parts of Miami that people would love to enjoy and see. I’m not going to say much more of what happened, but it was a weekend, another long weekend.
I got to experience a different side of Miami. I thought all Miami was was the nightlife, but my Cuban brother Cesar Gomez (IG:cagm17), a native of Miami, brought us to the art district of Miami which is known as Wynwood. I was able to hang out with the locals and meet different people that moved to Miami from around the world, who were very down to earth and laid back people. Me being the history buff, sight seeing, getting to know a city’s culture, I enjoyed this part of Miami a lot that no one really gets to see. It’s an outdoors arts district which is free to wander around and check out. I highly recommend it.
After I celebrated my birthday in Miami back in March, I thought that was one long weekend. I wanted to come back to Miami to do it again this summer, because the weather is a lot better in my opinion (hot humid almost to the high 90s) which people hate. But thats what makes Miami. The weather, the beaches, and the beautiful people. No wonder everyone tries to stay so fit out there, to show it off in the beautiful beaches. And don’t forget the historical sites of Miami, the sight seeing, and the locals. Thats what makes it a city of culture.
So as much description I want to give, that’s all I can say. Because in Miami, it never happened. Well it did…You have to go to experience it for yourself. Like I said, It’s Miami, enough said. Thanks again for a great weekend.

Note: Miami hotels, and flights are more affordable during the summer than they are during the winter and spring. A Miami native friend of mine said that most people around the country and world come during the fall and winter to getaway from the cold winters they have. So just keep that in mind if you’re planning on a trip to Miami soon.
Thanks to: Jeneille Ancheta (IG:ssneil, ssneil.com, polkandmarket), Kimberly Ramin, Michelle “MEESH” Pak, Cesar Gomez (my cuban adopted brother), Michael Vigil, Mike “Angel” Angelini, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for a memorable summer trip to South Beach.
First time I came to the beautiful Aloha State I told myself I need to come here once a year because of how much I fell in love with the islands. In a couple of weeks I can’t wait to step foot on the sugar powdered sand of Lanikai to just lay out and enjoy the 2 deserted islands from a distance.
I’m a very outdoorsy person and i’m a big fan of hikes. I’ve heard so much about the Manoa Waterfall hike because of the clear blue waters just falling from the mountain top, and maybe even take a dive in the clear cool waters taking in the island nature.
I’m not the best surfer but I have to step on the SURFBOARD, and ride the waves in North Shore and try to hang loose with the best of the best around the world. Even if its on a paddle board, but i don’t think you’d want to paddle board the high waves pipeline unless you’re a pro at it.
My mother and sister had a passion for hula dancing, so growing up I would follow the Hawaiian culture and I fell in love with the story behind the art and just the culture itself. It felt like this state is in a country of its own.
I have to check the Luaus whenever I go to Hawaii because of the food and entertainment.
Theres so much to list and do in such little time, but in a couple of weeks i’ll be in DA KINE KICKIN OFF MY SUMMER TOUR 2014. ALOHA!
